Swallows have halted construction. Vertical slopes are a favorite nesting and egg-laying site for bank swallows. The birds took advantage of the excavations and nested in their slopes . As the birds have already managed to lay their eggs in the holes they have hollowed out, we have decided together with the together with wildlife authorities to stop work at this site until the end of the swallows’ breeding season so as not to distress the birds.
